Year-over-year retailer purchases climbed by double digits for the second month in a row in October. The September trend pushed up the year-to-date average to 10.02% higher than 2006.

Compared to the previous month’s purchasing volume, October 2007 retailer purchases dropped by 11.51%.  The October decrease represents the second month-to-month decline in purchasing volume in the year.
