SAN DIEGO, CA - FurnishNet, the industry’s leading electronic transaction exchange service, reported a record 879,045 purchases processed through its exchange service in 2005.

That number represents a 57% increase in purchases processed over 2004 as the company continues to grow its network of trading partner participants. Last year the company also added 41 new clients to its hosted exchange service and now has over 730 companies participating in its network including 37 of the country’s top 100 home furnishings retail chains.

With the large number of purchases now being exchanged electronically through its network, the company estimates significant savings for its trading partners.
