May 18, 2006

San Diego-based Jerome’s Furniture has outsourced all EDI operations to FurnishNet, the industry’s leading transaction exchange service. The recently kicked-off project will provide connectivity with 90 trading partners for electronic exchange of purchase orders, acknowledgements, advance ship notices, and invoices.

Over 40 of the nation’s Top 100 retailers are now connected to the Furnishnet network for electronic transaction exchange. FurnishNet integrates web applications, electronic data interchange (EDI), XML, and email into a unique "Any-to-Any" exchange for the processing of over 300 transaction types electronically between trading partners. FurnishNet is able to translate data files into appropriate formats for the electronic flow of information between trading partners of any size, running on any corporate system. Because the FurnishNet service is able to transfer data without the use of a traditional EDI VAN, the need for expensive EDI mapping software as well as EDI VAN charges are eliminated, thereby reducing expense and simplifying connectivity.

Over 800 of the nation’s leading retailers and manufacturers are using FurnishNet’s electronic  transaction  exchange solution to streamline their supply chains. For more information, please call 1-800-854-2263, ext. 2525, or visit www.furnishnet.com and take the Self-Guided Tour.
